New Addition
Here Is Another Photo of a the latest addition at the farm. About two weeks old.
By choosing to work at home at least 1.5 hours of commute were replace with riding and caring for our horses.

I view the decision to work at home a choice that immediately brought me closer to living my unique life. Sure I was fortunate enough to come across some mentors, but that was after I made a decision that what everyone else around me was doing was not what I had in mind. I sat down and wrote "this is what I want my life to look like": Then much to my surprise I stumbled across a work at home opportunity that fit the bill exactly. Talk about the law of attraction.
I came across this article about living a life of impact. Seems we are conditioned, much, to live a live in the "norm". Many times we can find ourselves asking, "what will so and so think of this?" or "Is this what everyone else is doing". Wrong questions ( my opinion) What did god make you especially to accomplish? Better. What unique way do you have of seeing the world or approaching problems, or confronting injustice that may make an impact. Its seems to me, in short, that by living our unique life, or being our true self, we in turn leave our legacy.

Hi there, Chris Widener here.This week I want to talk with you about leaving an impact legacy. "What is an impact legacy?" you may ask. It is how you impact people and the world around you. You see, many people glide through life and do not make much of an impact. That is unfortunate.
Others though, those driven by a purpose and passion for living, are continually making the world a better place and making an impact wherever they go. That's what I believe you want to do.In order to help you reflect on this during this week, I want to ask you a question: What in the world are you doing?Here is the typical life - typical, though not everybody does it this way. But for the most part, people's lives generally go something like this:
You're born, You eat and sleep, You play with toys, You go to school, You play little league, You go to school, You learn to drive, You go to school, You leave high school, You go to more school, but you pay for it now, You get a job , You get married, You buy a house, You have kids, You watch your kids eat, sleep, play and go to school, You work, work, and work , You retire, You die.
That's the basic life, isn't it? I know there is more to it, but that is about it for most people.Here is that question again: What in the world are you doing? I mean, what are you doing besides the typical "enjoying yourself while you are waiting to die" scenario?
What kind of impact are you making?What I believe sets the successful apart is that they don't just live the average life. They don't just pass time. They make an impact. They have something compelling in their life that drives them - something that gives them an answer when they are asked that question: What in the world are you doing?
I'm helping children.I'm creating a business that supports many families.I lead a church.I am defending our liberties.I am raising great children.I'm teaching others to improve their lives.I help people have fun.I create memories for people.
In other words, successful people always come down to this:I make an impact and help other people by (fill in your purpose here).What in the world are you doing?If you want to be successful, you need to be able to answer that by describing how you help others. Because if you aren't helping others - if you aren't making an impact - you are just taking up space, eating food and waiting to die.

We have had a new arrival at home.Its a Girl!
This is my daughter Alaina with our new Phillie. She has yet to be named, but spunky would probably do.
We spend a good portion of our free time with our horses, its a great atmosphere for children. Horsemanship has a way of cultivating excellent leadership.
Cooperative leadership is the only effective variety and developing a willing partnership with a horse surely starts a person in the right direction. It reminds me of a point in home based business. We need not attempt to cajole or drag or coerce people into partnership only invite and give attention to those who accept the invitation.

If work at home interests you, imagine for a moment if you will, you wake up around eleven o'clock and connect with a team of work at home people who are like minded big achievers. You have breakfast with your family at home and plan the day ahead.
After realizing that you'll be going to the park for a while, to swing and shoot some baskets, then do some shopping and maybe a short afternoon nap, you remember you have some activities you can do.
Activities. Huh. The financial pressures trying to live a decent life today with the corporate model coupled with the time slavery is putting such a strain on your relationships that is no wonder we are going half mad.Get this. What if you took all that away.
What if you were to work at home, from your home office, and were supported by a community of people. Maybe even your family. What if the people who had gone before you, in a work at home endeavor, actually had a vested interest in your success.
What if an individuals own god given self interest was coupled with your self interest. What if you existed professionally in an environment of work at home teamwork. Real teamwork. What if a work at home business model made it so.
What if a work at home business model was created with the human factor in mind. The results we have while working from home are there, to a large extent, due to our habits. Successful people in home business work at home in a specific manner. Here are some Tips to guide you in your work at home business, or even a work at home job. Remember you have to provide your own structure. Now that you work at home, the boss is gone along with the structure your JOB may have provided.
1. Know which activities produce income.Always have a simple list of income producing activities for your work at home job or business. And make these activities priority. Period.
2. Each morning find reasons to be grateful you have the opportunity to work at home. Remember why you made the decision to work at home, and be grateful to be at home building your dream.
3. Make a list each day of the six most important items to accomplish that day and complete each one in its entirety. At the end of your day review the list to see if any items will carry over into the next day.
4. Schedule your day with time for yourself. Know when you will take breaks. Fit tasks into periods between breaks and use you breaks to motivate task completion.
5. Enjoy what it is your doing. If your a driven person, think about the results that the current activity your working on could produce. Know yourself and motivate your self. If you enjoy helping others, think about how the task your currently working on will help another to breathe a little easier.
6. Work you do at home must add value to the market place if you intend to make money with your home based business. Are you creating value? Ask others, "what do you like most about this product or that service"?
7. Work at Home entrepreneurs above all else need balance. Seek it out. Develop a "Balance Plan". The time to do this is each week, beginning and end. Making the decision to work at home is more sometimes more difficult than it needs to be. Work from home jobs number in the thousands, making the decision to work at home overwhelming. The simplest way to overcome this is to make the decision to work at home. Period.
Instead of sitting at home doing all the research and spending countless hours online looking for the perfect work at home job, Just make the decision. "I'm going to start a work at home business", or "I'm so excited now that I've decided to work at home".
Searching through work at home directories or scouring work at home job listings isn't the way to begin. Ultimately know this, if working at home appeals to you, then at some point in the future you deserve to have a work at home job or opportunity. At least to eliminate it as an option, worse case scenario, you start a work at home job and find out you can't stand working from home.
Maybe you've always associated being at home with relaxation. Maybe your home is your little safe haven. Either way you will experience better clarity knowing that you tried to work from home and it is now no longer an option.
The point I'm making here is, don't look for a work at home job that will convince you to get started working from home. Sit down and make a list. " I want to work at home because".... When you have a logical list of reasons why you want to work at home these can become your motivator to getting started.
As you make the list of why you want to work at home, this same list will become the evaluating criteria for the work at home job you select. Know how many hours you want to work, know how much money you want to make, will your work at home job require you to purchase items you don't currently have in your home office?

Number One Key To Success In Home Busness.

Tips To Avoid Ruts In Home Based Business. Work From Home Advice.

I was speaking with a friend this weekend and a topic came up that sometimes does. STUCK In A RUT?
I always think of the book " Who moved my cheese"? I don't remember the author right of hand but the book presents a priceless lesson in a practical way. If this post resonates with you Google the title, buy the book, and read it.
When I think of the book or the lesson therein as it pertains to home based business or business in general for that matter I think of marketing. I spend a considerable amount of time marketing the services and product that I offer in my home based business.
The reason I do this is because it seem that when I launch something new I'm often pleased with its performance however in time it seems to wane a bit. Probably because of the daily habits of the audience I'm exposing the marketing to or perhaps the people who were interested in what I am offering have already taken the action they intended to.
I realize I'm leaving out a bunch of technical terms here but the bottom line is this: Always be learning and developing something new. Whether it be a different perspective or a different target. Choose a new language or think of some area that you haven't previously thought of before.
Also when marketing, Know what you can afford. It is said that many people spend their way right out of a home business. People get excited all of sudden they are consumed with this youthful hope and the dream now LIVES.
Business decisions are just that. Calculated strategic decisions that take you from point A to Point B. Save the dream feed it and fan it. Do this to inspire and motivate your self inside the frame work or you budget and business system. Follow systems that are proven to work.
Continue to use your creativity to discover new and exciting ways to market inside your business system and your personal budget. When transitioning into a full time home business you should find some extra revenue from deciding to work at home. When you work from home expenses like gasoline, lunches, car maintenance, phone bills and thing of that nature should be reduced.
As for ruts, I don't know, are they resting spots, are they boredom, are they the result of needed growth or a different opportunity. Remember human beings resist change. That includes you. I was speaking with a friend this weekend and a topic came up that sometimes does. STUCK In A RUT?
I always think of the book " Who moved my cheese"? I don't remember the author right of hand but the book presents a priceless lesson in a practical way. If this post resonates with you Google the title, buy the book, and read it.
When I think of the book or the lesson therein as it pertains to home based business or business in general for that matter I think of marketing. I spend a considerable amount of time marketing the services and product that I offer in my home based business.
The reason I do this is because it seem that when I launch something new I'm often pleased with its performance however in time it seems to wane a bit. Probably because of the daily habits of the audience I'm exposing the marketing to or perhaps the people who were interested in what I am offering have already taken the action they intended to.
I realize I'm leaving out a bunch of technical terms here but the bottom line is this: Always be learning and developing something new. Whether it be a different perspective or a different target. Choose a new language or think of some area that you haven't previously thought of before.
Also when marketing, Know what you can afford. It is said that many people spend their way right out of a home business. People get excited all of sudden they are consumed with this youthful hope and the dream now LIVES.
Business decisions are just that. Calculated strategic decisions that take you from point A to Point B. Save the dream feed it and fan it. Do this to inspire and motivate your self inside the frame work or you budget and business system. Follow systems that are proven to work.
Continue to use your creativity to discover new and exciting ways to market inside your business system and your personal budget. When transitioning into a full time home business you should find some extra revenue from deciding to work at home. When you work from home expenses like gasoline, lunches, car maintenance, phone bills and thing of that nature should be reduced.
As for ruts, I don't know, are they resting spots, are they boredom, are they the result of needed growth or a different opportunity. Remember human beings resist change. That includes you.
