I remember when I was in 9th grade my history teacher asked the class how many red barns there were on the way to the town just south of us. That town was about twenty miles away and the class had several answers, most thought there were around 2-5 barns. Our homework for the night was to get on the freeway and count barns. I don't remember exactly how many there were, but it was like 14 or something. The point is, it's a lot easier to find what your looking for if you know what your looking for and most of us don't.

I know I didn't when I first start thinking about a business that would not take 50 to 60 hours per week to run and basically feel like a job. The book "The Law of Attraction" by Micheal Losier talks about clarity through contrast. It's a great way to learn what it is you want by starting with what you don't want.

For example.... I hate never having any time to spend with my family on vacation..... Contrasted to I would like to have three family vacations per year, each lasting a week... My family and I will plan and anticipate these vacations together and will make this an important part of our lives. Kinda cool, don't you think?
