Profitable Ideas to Choose the Best Online Businesses to Open

If you've spent any time at all researching online businesses to start you've seen some pretty crazy ads, websites, and promises. So have I. The best online business, or at least the search for it, is the goal of hundreds of thousands of people every month. Over the years I've tried many different online businesses and business models and I've built an business that works for me.

I have a popular website that focuses exclusively on finding the best online business ideas and when you can't find one we share ideas on how to build you own.

Before You Open an Online Business

Before you go out an open your online business it would be worthwhile to establish some personal goals you have for your business. Most profitable business owners aren't completely or solely satisfied with the income there business generates. A high paying job can deliver income, and a good one too. Chances are, if you are looking for the best online business, you want more than just income. Working from home is nice but it wears off over time and it isn't a good fit for everyone. It's important to figure out what you want your business to do for you before you go researching the business opportunities.

Here are some of the things I've learned (mostly in hindsight) I want my online business to do for me. These ideas should help you discern what the best online business to start is for you. Again I learned these things the hard way, through my own experience. I've invested a lot of time and energy online and maybe you can save some time by following the guidelines.

When I first went looking for the best online business to start I was met with those websites and Informational products that promised it was easy to make a lot of money online, it isn't. If your serious about creating a profitable online business then know that you will need to put forth some extreme effort. I don't think it is easier to open an online business, but I do think you can drastically limit your risk.

Originally I started a "Business Opportunity" which was a direct sales business model and had several network marketing elements to it. It was termed a "top tier" business opportunity which basically meant it was one of the most profitable businesses you could start online. The products cost a lot of money and there was a good margin in the products too, which made it a lucrative business model. At the end of the day it was a sales job more than anything and it just wasn't what I was looking for.

By starting that business opportunity I got a lot closer to figuring out what I really wanted in an online business. Here was my online business dream list:

Complete control over my time.
Ability to earn passive income by doing the work once.
Be able to work from anywhere.
Not have to spend time on the phone.
I did not want to sell anything.
I didn't want to have to deal with people.
I wanted a business that became an asset.
I wanted a business I could sell.
I wanted to enjoy what I was doing.

These ideas are not crazy, I didn't even have a huge income goal. I remember wanting to earn $4,000 dollars per month passively. I figured I could cover living expenses on that and other opportunities would come up over time, and they have.

Over time I've built a great business online that has many different areas I could expand on. My online business is completely non-service based but I'm thinking about adding some services. I've also never created my own product, but I think I will. There are many open online business models that let you make your own creative mark on the web.

Essentially every online business that makes money does one of three things or a combination. You make money by selling your own products. You make money selling someone Else's products. Or you make money helping someone else do one of the first two. It's that simple. Find a way to do that well and you have yourself an online business.

Winter '11-12 Anime ~ My Top Five, Specials, Etc.

It's that time of year again!!  Time to dwell in the winter season and prepare for the new up and coming anime series!!

Visual Guide and Anime Listing - via moetron.

How exciting!  I've been waiting for the new batch of anime to arrive.  But as exciting as it may be, I can't help but feel overwhelmed by so many series. -_-  Slow down on them deliveries will you? So I narrowed my picks down to five. ^-^

Papa no Iu Koto wo Kikinasai!
Papa no Iu Koto wo Kikinasai!  Is a slapstick comedy - hold it!  SLAPSTICK?!  I gotta see this!  The word slapstick reminds me of Ika Musume and you just gotta love that squid girl!  I just hope it slaps me with enough exaggerated comedy to make me ROFL!!

Kill Me Baby
Kill Me Baby has a strangely familiar character design.  It reminds me of Lucky Star . . . hmm. Which got me thinking it could be as good too.  If not, i'll settle for the awesome weaponry.  It looks like she's about to go Kill Bill on yo a**!  I wonder if they wield huge guns . . .

Inu x Boku SS
Gotta have some romance this winter!  This series looks intense, so I doubt it'll be very innocent. Be forewarned. I have a feeling it will have a Yaoi level of intimacy, not sure.  Whether it will or not is something I am bound to find out. And for those of you who've never seen Yaoi - it's pretty intense!

Another
Scary stuff *gulp.*  I haven't watched mystery in a while or do I dare say it . . . horror!  But, I wouldn't mind getting creeped out every now and then this upcoming season.  Maybe that will keep my mind off the weather.

and Black Rock Shooter
Since the time I watched the OVA, this anime has been on my mind.  The flaming blue eye, the epic action scenes, and let's not forget the big guns!  I am very curious to know how it will turn out.  I believe this is the first anime i'll see, that wasn't based on a manga - or to be more precise, a kick ass Supercell song! I enjoy Supercell's song and hope that they use that song for the OP.  Congrats Miku!  You will open for an epic series!~

Specials and Ova's ~

Usagi Drop Specials
Aw . . who doesn't like Usagi Drop?  The first special was adorable and I am looking forward to specials 6.5 and 8.5. This anime does a great job at portraying a fun and positive view of parenthood.  But even if you're not a parent yourself, I recommend you watch it because I believe it will connect with you in one way or another. Seriously, if you don't watch it you are really missing out.

K-ON! (Movie)
It looks like the girls are taking a little trip this winter.  I can't wait for the theatrical release!  Too bad it's not being released anywhere near where I am.  Still, i'll wait until the day it hits media everywhere!  I enjoyed the series so much and the music was great.  It has been dearly missed and this release will commemorate my love for K-ON!

K-ON!/! S.1, 2 けいおん!/!

My love for music has suddenly skyrocketed!!  Not to mention my love for tea ~ お茶の時間!!

Summaries: K-ON! - S.1    K-ON!! - S.2  Via ANN.

After School Tea Time! - was Fantastic!  Their music was catchy and their story was pretty heartwarming. But my favorite aspect was their strong sense of friendship.  That is something they portrayed perfectly and it touched me dearly.

Joining the light music club was the best thing Yui could have done.  If only I watched this my senior year ~ weep. But it's cool . . I managed to keep in touch with my school friends.  I still have Tea with one every now and then . . and yes I started having Tea time after watching K-ON! ~ Anime influenced.  How can I not be . . the look in Yui's face is . . I couldn't resist! ^^

nom nom nom . . .

K-ON! - was probably one of the most popular series exposed last year 2010 - and I missed the whole hype, but I'm covering it now and I thought it was simply delightful.  My first impressions revolved around music and well mostly music.  But to my surprise, its beautiful portrayal of high school life was successfully delivered.  The slice of life-ness was somewhat nostalgic to me and each and every character felt genuinely real.  I found myself comparing people I know with these characters all the time.

Left to Right:  Kotobuki, Tsumugi;  Tainaka, Ritsu;  Akiyama, Mio;  Hirasawa, Yui;  Nakano, Azusa

It was interesting to see each character portray such convincing - real emotions.  I cried every time they shed tears, almost as if I were there crying with them.  I can easily relate to each character. Maybe because I can relate to their situation.  High School is such an intricate life stage most of us go through, and seeing them go through it, took me on the journey as well.

The addition of Azunyan made the group stronger in every aspect.  She emphasized the group's genuine care and feelings.  Azunyan's sense of loneliness was totally moé ;)  No really, lets be serious.

This was totally moé!!

Being the only underclassman in the group added huge depth to her and each character.  With Azunyan, they were able to experience the fear of drifting apart or losing her as a friend. Graduation is just another stage in life most of us go through.  But only true friends stick it out til the end.

Of course, I can never forget about the music!  I've been listening to them non-stop since I started. My new favorite band perhaps?  I enjoy the OP's and ED's the best.  I like how the OP's would have Yui sing and start off the show, while Mio would would sing you off in the ED's.  I particularly enjoyed the ED's since they show more of a rebellious side to the girls - quite the contrary to their character's personality in the anime.  Here are a few of my faves . . .

I don't believe this will be the last performance of the light music club.  My anime senses are tingling and they say there is an upcoming K-ON! movie.  The film is scheduled to open in over 130 theaters in Japan December 3 ~ via ANN.  So look forward to it!

Neko's Go ~ *Nyan*

What are these . . half human - half cat?!  I don't know, but they're cute!  I recently discovered my adoration for these animated felines . . . whole ones and what not, so here are a few pics!

They cosplayed as bunnies . . I always wondered how they would look as cats :)
Please feel free to leave them at my door step.
Can't forget about Loveless . . only boy neko I ever loved.  It's too bad he's into dudes.
Azu-nyan!!
Moé ;)
Last but not least . . Nyan Cat!  He just nyan's throughout space - what seems to be, endlessly . . WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!!
