Having a solid idea of where YOU want to be is probably 50% of the getting there. Many of us have played to an audience other than ourselves. Maybe a parent, or a spouse. Maybe a group of people.The Question is what do you want? What will make you happy? For many its a whole lot simpler than we realize.
When we can stop trying to figure out what would make everyone else happy and think about our own joy and happiness we will be on our way to achieving it.I've read The Law Of Attraction and one of the main points is figuring out what you really want.
In the book they talk about starting with what you don't want. For many of us that is a much longer list.Starting with "I don't want financial stress" we can conclude that " I want a financial system, a personal one, that causes me to be stress free about finances.
" I don't want to live in this stinking apartment" TO " I want to have my own home"
" I don't want my child to misbehave every night at bedtime" TO " I want my child to live well with the rest of the family"
You know, once we figure out what we want we can elaborate and get specific on how to bring that about. It happens almost immediately when you read the examples above. It brings a new energy one of possibility.If your not where you want to be or Know someone who isn't share these ideas.
Figure out where you DO want to be and one year from now you will be closer just for Knowing.Living and working from you home office is an idea that many don't realize or take advantage of.

Horticulture of Home based Business Success.

George Bernard Shaw said, “People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, they make them.”
Well, it’s pretty apparent, isn’t it? And every person who discovered this believed (for a while) that he was the first one to work it out. We become what we think about.
Conversely, the person who has no goal, who doesn’t know where he’s going, and whose thoughts must therefore be thoughts of confusion, anxiety and worry – his life becomes one of frustration, fear, anxiety and worry. And if he thinks about nothing… he becomes nothing.
How does it work? Why do we become what we think about? Well, I’ll tell you how it works, as far as we know. To do this, I want to tell you about a situation that parallels the human mind.
Suppose a farmer has some land, and it’s good, fertile land. The land gives the farmer a choice; he may plant in that land whatever he chooses. The land doesn’t care. It’s up to the farmer to make the decision.
We’re comparing the human mind with the land because the mind, like the land, doesn’t care what you plant in it. It will return what you plant, but it doesn’t care what you plant.
Now, let’s say that the farmer has two seeds in his hand- one is a seed of corn, the other is nightshade, a deadly poison. He digs two little holes in the earth and he plants both seeds-one corn, the other nightshade. He covers up the holes, waters and takes care of the land…and what will happen? Invariably, the land will return what was planted. As it’s written in the Bible,
“As ye sow, so shall ye reap.”
Remember the land doesn’t care. It will return poison in just as wonderful abundance as it will corn. So up come the two plants - one corn, one poison.
The human mind is far more fertile, far more incredible and mysterious than the land, but it works the same way. It doesn’t care what we plant… success...or failure. A concrete, worthwhile goal…or confusion, misunderstanding, fear, anxiety and so on. But what we plant it must return to us.
You see, the human mind is the last great unexplored continent on earth. It contains riches beyond our wildest dreams. It will return anything we want to plant.
Today, plant something fabulous in your mind! Take full responsibility. You will choose to grow a thriving, magnificent, abundant, beautiful garden, or dried up weeds. The choice is yours.

Home Based Business plus persistance equals Hybrid Success
Working from home in a home based business requires persistence. Period. Reaching multiple points where you can say to yourself, " I bet this is where most people quit", is probably a clue as to your progress.
Whether your working from home or working for some one else, persistence is going to be a key ingredient to your success recipe.
3. Persistence Grows Your Root System by Vic Johnson (excerpted from Day by Day with James Allen)

Its why regular everyday people can start a home based business and achieve success while they work at home and spend time with there family. J Crawford
It is the great equalizer for all of those reaching for success. It overcomes lack of education, money, talent, intelligence, looks and all other seeming advantages.
President Calvin Coolidge said nothing could take its place: "Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." I cannot think of one victory I've ever had that I won without persistence.
For a while I just thought that I had to work harder and longer than anyone else in order to achieve because nothing has ever come easy for me. Then I really looked around and noticed that everyone else was just like me. Every mentor I've ever had and every successful person I've ever known has their own story of how persistence was the key to their success.
Here's what Bob Proctor teaches on one of the Universal Laws called the Law of Gender: "this law decrees that all sees (ideas are spiritual seeds) have a gestation of incubation periods before they manifest. In other words, when you choose a goal or build the image in your mind, a definite period of time must elapse before that image manifests in physical results."
One of my most favorite inspirational examples about persistence is the story of an Asian bamboo species that even after five years of watering, weeding and fertilizing is barely visible. Then, in a span of about six weeks, it grows two and a half feet a day to 90 feet and higher. It grows so fast that you can literally "hear" it growing. The question to ask is did the bamboo grow 90 feet in six weeks or did it grow 90 feet in five years?
Obviously it grew 90 feet in five years, for all the time when growth wasn't visible it was developing a massive root system that would later support it magnificent growth.Can you see where the current circumstance in you life are developing your massive root system?
Can you see where you must continue to "fertilize" and "water" yourself even though maybe you can't see any visible changes today?
Napoleon Hill thought that persistence was such a key to success that he devoted an entire chapter to it in the classic Think and Grow Rich. He writes,"Persistence is a state of mind, therefore it can be cultivated….Before success comes in any person's life, he is sure to meet with much temporary defeat, and, perhaps, some failure.
When defeat overtakes a person, the easiest and most logical thing to do is to 'Quit.' That is exactly what the majority of people do. More than five hundred of the most successful people this country has ever known told the author their greatest success came just one step beyond the point at which defeat had overtaken them.And that's worth thinking about.

Home Based Business Logic.
Learn to Attract Home Based Business Success!
This is not only for the new entrepreneur. If you already own a home based business, these ideas can help you to achieve increased home business success - and the time is ripe today!
With gas prices soaring, what better time is it to start a home business?
I think the present economic environment is a strong time, possible the strongest yet, for the home business market. The capability of home based business operations continues to improve. With more powerful computers and high-speed Internet increasing daily, just about any business can be operated from home.
Home businesses are more flexible than traditional brick and mortar. As such, it's easier for home business entrepreneurs to target emerging opportunities, a key advantage in the tough, sluggish economy we're in.
So why are so many still reluctant to dive in and start their own home businesses? Perhaps the biggest road block is a fear of failure. I don't think there is anyone who has started a business, home based of otherwise, who has not feared failing.
It comes with the territory. Business failure can occur for many obvious reasons. Lack of start-up capital, low market demand, too much competition, indecisiveness, weak interpersonal skills, poor time management- these are some of the more obvious reasons.
One not so obvious reason is simply not having developed the skills and aptitude needed to succeed in business. My uneducated guess would put this at the top of a list of reasons as to why a business that can succeed ends up failing.
There is an apt saying that applies to this reason for failure: "Nothing succeeds like failure." You can read and study all you want about starting up and operating a business; however, there is not substitute for jumping in and running a business hands-on.
Starting a business with system already in place is the most valuable proposition. Make sure though that the systems fill the voids that a lack of experience creates. Marketing for instance, and a sales process.
You can only gain critical business aptitude and operational skills by getting your hands dirty actually doing it. Furthermore, one can bounce back more quickly and effectively in a new business built upon the lessons learned from failure. That's where the system come from you know.
By the way the focus remains always on succeeding. That's why your going to be in business. Forget about goals like " Staying in business, or not failing, or breaking even.
If you focus on paying your electric bill that what you'll do. Focus on owning a 70' yacht and chances are your light bill will get paid along the way.

Why should you start a home based business? I posted to a blog earlier today on the same topic. The post there had some stats and some third party input. it was informative.
I Still think the best reason to start a business is because You Can! Not taking advantage of an opportunity is like not having one. Not being an entrepreneur, or business owner is like not being able to.
Not being an agent in free enterprise is like being a communist. Its un- " American"
You know times change and paths curve. In many ways I believe free enterprise is dying away. Corporate America is the stage coach of death to free enterprise.
The Corporate structure is to business what a set of stilts would be to a marathon runner, Stupid.
Just because behavior can be justified by saying that's how the government does it. Doesn't make it right. America is not the government. Its a country, a way of life, its an attitude that once embodied freedom.
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction right? ( not sure) Well any way if you believe that and many do, Then take a minute and think about the state of things.
I don't feel that I was a contributor to the last sixty years of mediocre bologna and don't feel responsible for clean up.
This is one reason I choose to be in business. One reason I enjoy working from home. Given the choice of being paid for the results I Create or the time I spend. I'll take the results.
Any way this fella below makes some very unemotional points as to why being in business for yourself or working from home is the most intelligent thing to do. I found the ideas very informative and encouraging.

Circumstances or Success. You Choose
Keeping our eye on the ball and minding our own business is the name of the game. And remember the ball is what you want. Its what you are moving toward it is what you are in the process of achieving.

The greatest stumbling block to achieving anything of importance in your life is circumstances. We let circumstances get us off the hook when we should be giving it everything we've got. Farm League Try Outs
I just got finished helping with Farm League tryouts. basically a bunch of 6 and 7 year old softball players getting together to figure out what teams are going to be for this next year.
One of the gentlemen there asked if I would be willing to help in organizing the players so they new when they would be up to bat.
When I was leaving I mentioned "thanks for letting me help" and I meant it it was enjoyable. It reminded me of when we serve our clients in business. A good measure of the business or work we do being a correct fit, is I think, are we enjoying it.
Can Life really be packed with us engaging in things we enjoy? Absolutely. Life should be packed with these happening and events. the energy we create when we are doing what we love attracts more of what we love.
When choosing to whether to make the transition to work from home in a home based, or finding the area of responsibility in a work environment, should our personal satisfaction and enjoyment at least come into consideration?
I realize this isn't always the case. If it were what impact would that have on our relationships and business environment? Try it and find out.
I tend to believe that we are who we are for a reason and if something brings us a feeling of usefulness and contentment, if we enjoy it, then we are probably doing the right thing.

Home based Business Gobal Economy.
I was e-mailing an associate earlier today and wanted to share an idea that came up. I also own a traditional business that is somewhat seasonal and each spring is a time of reflection. I was thinking about years past when I was limited to basically a 100 mile radius from our business and when I would hear the term Global economy, to me that term meant outside of 100 miles.
Just this morning i spoke with a gentleman form Dubai United Arab Emirates and Tuesday I spoke with a person from the UK. It feels good to be in the game at a global level.
Business in the next 5 to 10 years is going to get radically different and Its comforting to know your doing something on the cutting edge. Learning each day something relevant to our time.
Some things never change though. Adding value to the market place as Jim Rohn likes to say will always be a prerequisite to success and wealth in any business endeavor, whether it be a home based business, or a global business or a local business, maybe even someday a virtual business, it doesn't really matter Business succeeds when we add value to others.
Its an awesome thing to be involved in the global economy working from home and spending time with the people we chose.

Home based business Success and Self Development
How important is self development to home based business success? Well that depends on where you are at with success in general. Personal or self development is key to staying on track and achieveing the goals you have set in place. Getting on track can also be gained through personal development .
Working from home or in your own small business to make money and create wealth is the right of every Person. I buy in to an old quote that goes something like, your life will get better when you do.
I personally interpret this quote to be a statement of perspective. Rather than play the game of "I'm not good now but need to get that way for life to get better" is a nail in the coffin of mediocrity. Rather, when we can view ourselves as being good now and getting better and better we add the momentum that is required for the results we want to achieve. We all have relationships, and make money and enjoy abundance of one degree or another.
Perhaps we can start there, appreciate, then maybe tweak the way we make a living or relate to our children. We can draw strength from our existing conditions and continue to move toward the dream we wish to achieve.
I always like to keep my thinking based on what works. Opinions are usually ugly and quite unproductive. Constantly monitor results, for they are tracks our thinking leaves.
Home based business success requires a certain kind of perspective and focus. The main issue with staying on track with a home business is the fact that you will not have someone dictating to you what "on track" really is. The up side to that is that you get to do this yourself.
How is this done? Through your goals. Sit down and write out your goals and be specific. It is a good idea to have short, midrange, and long term goals. The long term goals have a tendency to keep things in perspective in the short term.
Having a daily routine to start your day is a great practice for the home based entrepreneur. I highly recommend it....
