I was e-mailing an associate earlier today and wanted to share an idea that came up. I also own a traditional business that is somewhat seasonal and each spring is a time of reflection. I was thinking about years past when I was limited to basically a 100 mile radius from our business and when I would hear the term Global economy, to me that term meant outside of 100 miles.
Just this morning i spoke with a gentleman form Dubai United Arab Emirates and Tuesday I spoke with a person from the UK. It feels good to be in the game at a global level.
Business in the next 5 to 10 years is going to get radically different and Its comforting to know your doing something on the cutting edge. Learning each day something relevant to our time.
Some things never change though. Adding value to the market place as Jim Rohn likes to say will always be a prerequisite to success and wealth in any business endeavor, whether it be a home based business, or a global business or a local business, maybe even someday a virtual business, it doesn't really matter Business succeeds when we add value to others.
Its an awesome thing to be involved in the global economy working from home and spending time with the people we chose.
