My first impression of Gin was, "He is definitely a bad guy! I just know it." Well, I guess I didn't know it. It was until after he betrays Aizen, that you discover his true intentions. It was all, for Rangiku. He was there to avenge her, so that she would never have to cry again. That immediately won me over. "It's okay Gin! It's okay that you attacked Toshiro, that you betrayed the Soul Society, and that you let Aizen get away with his hollowfication experiments! I forgive you!" (^-^)d ! *thumbs up.* When you put it that way, he really did quite terrible things. But then again, he did it, knowing it could have been worse. Knowing, he didn't have the power to stop Aizen, that, no one could. Not just yet. So he waited until the right moment came along. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, he failed. That really bums me out. I wish he had another chance to make things right. To join the Squad Captains once again and continue his adventures with the rest of the Shinigami.
If this anime had "dragonballs," Gin (and lets not forget my love Ulquiorra) would have it much easier, that's for sure. Or you know *Orihime . . cough cough* Where is she when you need her?! I'm pretty sure she could have revived them. . at least Ulquiorra. She's evil like that. But ok, someone has to die I guess.
By the way, today's Gin's birthday. Happy birthday Gin! Doesn't he look adorable as a kid? :3
