So, I found a few and had a conversation. I made a choice and a decision. Not real complicated. I might add it wasn't real easy either.....


I had enjoyed much success in the commercial construction industry I was in at the time. I was good at it. I grew a company in a very tough and competitive industry. I started in my early twenties, it was my life. At the peak we had over thirty employees and did several million in sales.

That's a bit of pain, being in that spot. Everyone knows you as this certain person, with this certain business. They think your rich and lucky. Deep inside though, I was miserable. I was good at what I did but I hated It. I received all kinds of recognition in the community, I met all kinds of wonderful people. But I simply did not like my life....

So, Yeah. It was difficult. To thine own self be true. Simple.... Difficult. Its worth it they say, and I will attest, partly based on "their" advice and partly based on my experience. The single most valuable thing to me in my life is freedom. I must feel free. I Know this now, and am able to make decisions based on this Knowledge. To thine own self be true.


.....So what I did in the midst running a business that was doing what It was supposed to do given the decisions I had made and actions I took, was to make a list of what I wanted to do. What skills and talents I wanted to utilize and share with the world. What my rules would be. What was the perfect business for me and how could I build it.


Based on that list I was researching Mail order, and how to create electronic documents when an Internet add caught my eye. It read something like: Earn a great income from home doing something you can be proud of. We will show you how. This is where that conversation comes in, that I had.


And I found a business that met every criteria on my list. And More.


So yeah, when you find a business that is a good fit for you. A business that utilizes the talents and interests that you want to offer the world, you can earn a CEO Level Income.


It will sound like a business in a box because the person you are talking to is probably using a system that has become very simple. Its kind of like buying an entertainment center. You can't haul the thing all put together so you buy it in a box a put in together, following the instructions.

The instructions will show you the best, fastest, most profitable way to put it together and exactly what to do make money. Its difficult to explain a business or sell one for that matter. It sounds silly sometimes. I saw a consulting franchise in an e-mail the other day. You could pay someone $59,000 dollars then go consult people on technology. Cool! To me that's crazy. But to someone else that might be that business that met the criteria on their list.

As far as the other Statements up there. A solid legitimate business should have a proven track record. If its been around for 3 or 4 years it is more than likely legit. Not always. The other thing, every business goes through what are called the "shake out" years. It is said it takes a company as long to get to 10% as it does to get to 100%. The first three or so years all the bugs get worked out. Also A legitimate business provides a solution to a relevant problem. Or provides a product that is in high demand.


Also good leadership is the footprint of any legitimate business.

A Work At Home Based Business Opportunity That Fits For Me

Welcome Home Base Business Insight. I am Joe Crawford and I'm glad your here. We have a slew of work at home based business articles for home business entrepreneurs. Most of our work at home articles concentrate on mindset and logic behind work at home opportunity success.

For people who have stumbled upon the site or answered a home busiess ad, your in the right spot. I remember back when I was looking for something different or something I could do from home. I was in a tough spot and had been for several months. A commercial contracting business that I own was experiencing huge growth in revenue. We had gone from around 650,000 to over 2 million in one year.

The stress and pressure that I was under at work was unbearable. To make matters worse, as work progressed I learned that there would not be much at all for profit and this just devastated me. As I sat in my office I made a list of what I wanted. I wanted a business that, as it grew, would not become a curse as my current one had. On my list I had written I would like to share information I have learned, I did not want to have to do physical labor and I wanted to earn multiple six figures from a home office. I also wanted to help others and be appreciated for the value that I added. I was not thinking of a business at the time, only the results I wanted in My Life.

The service I was providing at the time was viewed more as a commodity, and appreciation just was on the table. My thought at the time was to build a business in which I would take the fear or the unknown out of starting a business. It was something I had done a few times and I knew how to do it.

As I thought about that, I asked my self, do I really want to show people how to start a business that has brought on this much anguish in my own life. Sure I made great money over the years in business but the average person would not be willing to go through the struggles that I endured and work the hours I had worked.

No employees, Boss, Or Commute." I thought yea right. It was a home based business opportunity advertisement. I had never paid attention to work at home ads and thought wow that's a weird ad.

I did follow the ad to a website though. I ended up getting started and now the person who placed that add is a home based business partner of mine. The home business that I had found met every criteria that I had listed on that paper just a few months earlier. Its neat how things work out.

I now work directly with the top income earners in the work at home based business industry and love it. We utilize a simple system that generates massive income and time freedom. There are a lot of people in the world today and each and every one of them have there own way of doing things. Some end up being successful and others do not. Success is not defined by where you are from or what family you were born into.

Seven Things to Keep in Mind When Starting Home Based Business in the UK

1. Choose Your Products or Services Wisely.
Put simply, you need to sell stuff that people want to buy. You also need to sell stuff that makes you money. Make sure the profit margins are there.
One reason why I love information products so much is because people will always want quality information and be prepared to pay for it.

Example: You might be passionate about 3 Legged, Albino Hamsters from Outer Mongolia...
But I very much doubt you will find a viable market for your 'How to Care For 3 Legged Albino Hamsters From Outer Mongolia' action guide.

2. Go to Work. When you work from home, there is a great temptation to not treat work seriously. Things like taking too many breaks and stopping to watch Coronation Street can quickly undermine your chances of success.

In my own home based business, I often go out in the morning - even if it is just to grab a newspaper so I can come home and experience the feeling of 'going to work'
It sounds silly but it works. It helps me get into the right mindset.

3. Use a Daily Planner. This one thing can transform your results from mediocre to spectacular. You will also get far more done in a lot less time.

4. Focus on Marketing. I often tell people who attend my Home Business Seminars, that in business it is not the THING it is the MARKETING of the thing that makes all the difference in the world.

I believe that marketing can help you solve just about any problem you face.
Do you need an assistant? Marketing can provide the money to hire one.
Do you need more equipment? marketing can help you afford it.

WARNING: Unless you focus on marketing, you will always be caught in the trap of working IN your business instead of ON it.
You will never have a business that serves your life. Without marketing, your life will serve your business.
You will be like the proverbial mouse on a wheel - running like crazy but never getting anywhere.

5. Network to Get the Right Resources Sometimes, working from home in the UK can make you feel as if you are living on a desert island - even if you are surrounded by millions of people.
It is easy to become overwhelmed thinking that you have to do everything with little help or input from others.

One way to overcome this feeling is to seek out and join networks of other UK home based business owners.

Ideally, such networks should provide you with access to a wide range of easy-to-use tools and training resources to help you succeed in your business.

Yet my first 12 months online were a stinking nightmare.
The learning curve was enough to make a dictionary feel lost for words.
These days, it is a hundred times easier to succeed online than it was 7 years ago.

HINT: Look again at point number 5.

There are sites that offer action guides, training videos, reports, articles and forums where you can network with other UK home based business owners and cut years of your learning curve.
These seven points are by no means exhaustive but they should give you some food for thought.
Starting your own home based business in the UK is not mission impossible.

That would cost you 480 thousand dollars. That's if you had the cash. Times that by three ( a 30 year note ) Around 1.5 million and thirty years before that would ever cash flow 3,000 dollars.

Get this: I have a side business online that almost accidentally developed, that I have spent no money on at all. I simply write a little here and there, find free stuff to give away, and this will flow 3,000 in less that 1 year. Its absolutely passive.

This is one benefit I have experience from changing my path. Work at home based business is simply superior to anything on the table.

It is a Fact. The main reason people don't get started with me, in a business that can, and has over and over generated multiple six figures the first year, is because they don't believe its real.

In fact I'd like to have you memorize a most important phrase. Here it is, "The major key to your better future is YOU."

Let me repeat that. "The major key to your better future is YOU." Put that someplace you can see it everyday, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, at the office, anywhere where you can see it everyday. The major key to your better future is YOU. Try to remember that every day you live and think about it. The major key is YOU.

Now, there are many things that will help your better future. If you belong to a strong, dynamic, progressive company, that would help. If the company has good products, good services that you are proud of, that would certainly help. If there were good sales aids, that would help, good training would certainly help. If there is strong leadership, that will certainly help.

All of these things will help, and of course, if it doesn't storm, that will help. If your car doesn't break down, that will help. If the kids don't get sick, that will help. A friend of mine has always answered when asked, "How do you develop an above average income?" He says, "Simple. Become an above average person. Work on you." My friend says, "Develop an above average handshake." He says, "A lot of people want to be successful, and they don't even work on their handshake. As easy as that would be to start, they let it slide. They don't understand." My friend says, "Develop an above average smile. Develop an above average excitement. Develop an above average dedication. Develop an above average interest in other people." He says, "To have more, become more."

Remember; work harder on yourself than you do on your job. For a long time in my life, I didn't have this figured out.

Strangely enough, with two different people in the same company one may earn an extra $100 a month, and the other may earn a $1,000. What could possibly be the difference? If the products were the same, if the training was the same, if they both had the same literature, the same tools. If they both had the same teacher, the same compensation plan, if they both attended the same meetings, why would one person earn the $100 per month and the other person earn the $1000?
